What you need:

Modelling or Editing the FBX:

• Blender Version 4.1+

Unity Edits or Uploading the Avatar

Prerequisites to setting up the avatar in unity.

• Install Unity 2022.3.22f1 if not already installed.
• Download the VRChat Creator Companion from the VRChat download page.
• Install poiyomi 9.2.52+ to the VCC from the Download & Install page from poiyomi's website.
• Install VRCFury 1.1238.0+ to the VCC from the Download and Install on VRCFury's website.

How to setup the avatar in Unity:

• Open the VRChat Creator Companion App.
• Click the Create New Project button in the top right of the app.
• Select the Unity 2022 Avatar Project template.
• Add the poiyomi and VRCFury packages by clicking their respective (+) icons.
• Click the Open Project button in the top right of the app. This may take a few minutes to load.
• Right click on the assets folder, select Import Package.
• Select the ArirDictator.unitypackage file from the ZIP.
• Click confirm/yes when prompted by Unity to import the package.
• Double click the Save.unity file to open the prefab scene.
• Open the VRChat SDK by clicking the VRChat SDK button on the top taskbar then clicking the Show Control Panel.
• Name the Avatar, select any image and hit the Build and Publish button.

FAQ:

• How long did it take? - Many sleepless nights, this was a passion project that got reworked and added to constantly.
• Is it all original mesh? - Yep! 100% original mesh made by yours truly!
• Can I port this to x/y/z? - Go right ahead! I do ask that I remain credited as the original author but nothing more than that is needed!
• Can I frankenstein this/rip parts off? - Go ahead! Same as above, just retain credit to yours truly.
• Can I kiss him? - You have my blessing. Just be aware Space Cat sweat is toxic to Humans. I am not liable to any harm that arises from your actions.
